I Welcome You on Behalf of All at Bright Colours Orphanage

Hello there!

I’m Sonia Gill, founder and owner of Bright Colours Orphanage in Lahore, Pakistan. It’s my great pleasure to welcome you to our website where we aim to raise awareness to the work we are doing to care for and educate orphaned children in our community. Apart from feeding, clothing and educating the children, we equip them with the skills and confidence to live fruitful and productive lives outside our care.

At Bright Colours Orphanage we spread a message of hope and compassion. We believe a single action can make all the difference in the community, while collective action can have worldwide impact. Through advocacy and outreach activities, we work tirelessly each day to contribute our part to the greater good of the orphans in our care and the wider community.

I see the value in everyone getting involved and wish to be a catalyst for positive change. Since our beginnings in 2015, I still hold the same ideals I had when founding the Orphanage: caring, support, development, empowerment and progress.

I also wish to state how grateful I am for your visit to our website, where you can learn more about my vision, and how we implement our mission to change the lives of children in our care. You will see how hard our staff work to ensure children have the chance to grow up and lead fulfilled lives in the broader community.

Experience has shown the very best thing for a child is to be part of a loving family, it’s where they can thrive and develop. That’s why everything we do as a children’s charity is to accomplish that aim.

Within this broad aim, our objectives are twofold: to provide a loving family for every child and, by doing so, to abolish any need for the orphanage. We believe together we can change the way we care for children by securing stable, loving and nurturing family environments where they can maintain their development.

In pursuit of these goals, I’d like to make this plea to you to support our work. It’s very important right now as funds are in short supply owing to the coronavirus pandemic. I will appreciate any way you can become engaged in caring for our orphans and vulnerable children. Please reach out in whatever way you can.
